Tea Leaf Cafe, nestled in the heart of Reno at 6775 Sierra Center Parkway, is a vibrant tea house and café that masterfully blends authentic Vietnamese flavors with a modern twist. This charming spot has quickly become a local favorite for those craving a satisfying, flavorful meal paired with some of the best bubble teas in town.
The cuisine here shines with its fresh, bold Vietnamese influences—whether you’re diving into their famously praised Banh Mi sandwiches or savoring the bright, delicate flavors of their summer rolls and shrimp spring rolls. Customers often rave about the Banh Mi; Sanisi Pe'a describes it as the go-to option for anyone seeking a truly flavorful quick bite, while Christine Sitar confidently declares their Banh Mi the best, even outshining well-known spots in Southern California. The sandwiches burst with a wonderful balance of savory BBQ pork, crispy vegetables, and just the right amount of heat to awaken your taste buds.
Complementing the food is a thoughtfully curated drink menu that tea lovers will adore. From the rich, smooth Vietnamese coffee to the refreshing passion fruit tea with boba and the indulgent brown sugar milk tea, each sip offers a delightful interplay of texture and flavor. Roxxi’s mention of the “big and chewy” boba pearls perfectly captures the tactile joy of Tea Leaf Cafe’s bubble teas, making every drink an experience in itself. The café’s signature offerings like the red bean smoothie with boba and caramel latte blended drink bring a luscious creaminess balanced with unique sweet notes that create mouthwatering contrasts.
Beyond the drinks and sandwiches, the menu also boasts tempting dishes such as fried rice with pork in garlic sauce, BBQ pork chow mein, chicken satay, and various vegan options, making it versatile for different tastes and dietary preferences. Jeff P. praised the summer rolls and BBQ pork with peanut sauce, describing the food as “great” and highlighting the generous portions of dishes like pad thai, which pairs wonderfully with a crisp iced tea or strawberry smoothie on a warm day. Ki SL appreciates the generous size and fresh flavors of the shrimp spring rolls, describing them as noticeably bigger and tastier than elsewhere.
Dining at Tea Leaf Cafe is more than just satisfying your hunger—it’s about enjoying a clean, inviting atmosphere where the staff’s friendly and attentive service adds to the overall warmth of the experience. Customers repeatedly point out not only the quality of the food but also the café’s pleasant ambiance, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a relaxing break with a refreshing beverage. Whether you’re settling in for a quick bite or meeting friends for a bubble tea treat, the setting feels welcoming and comfortable.

updated menu pictures attached food is great here summer rolls bbq pork with their peanut sauce pad thai is delicious boba is ok
Love the bubble tea here especially with the variety of choices. They also have other food choices such as fried rice so an ideal place to go to eat at a great deal. The shrimp spring rolls are delicious and are much bigger than other places. Only negative was that my husband did not care for the egg waffles. The place is clean and has a nice ambience plus the employees were helpful and polite. It also has a little area to play board games. I’ve uploaded pictures of the menus for convenience.
***Hidden Gem*** Tea Leaf Cafe has become my favorite place for a sandwich and drink. The Bon Me, absolutely beats Lee's Sandwich Shop in Southern California. Tea Leaf café has the best smoothies with boba and their caramel latte is absolutely satisfying. The Bon Me is so delicious I never can get a picture of the full sandwich for you because I can't help myself lol Go and enjoy!
Wintermelon + Oolong tea was the perfect pairing! Their boba is big and chewy. Plenty of food options on the menu including vegetarian/vegan accommodation. Huge serving of pad Thai! The tofu was generous and tasted great.
Great spot for lunch! The lemongrass beef banh mi sandwich was delicious - the beef amazingly tender and flavorful, the sandwich size generous but not too much. Yum! Tasty jasmine boba tea as well, I got 25% sweetness and it was perfect.
Cute little place, the service was friendly. We got the brown sugar tea and Thai iced tea. Both were very refreshing, especially on a hot Sunday afternoon. The chicken satay was delicious too. Must try.
Stopped by for a quick bite and purchased some spring rolls. Oh my, they were so big and delicious! Their menu also looked very appetizing. Sweet cashier. I stopped by about 20 minutes before they closed and the cafe was extra clean, it smelled a little too potent. The atmosphere doesn’t match the menu but that’s not a big deal. Will be returning to get more spring rolls and some extras off the menu too.
